Jesus Reigns in Nepal

So we have been in Nepal now for about 5 weeks and have gone on multiple adventures. From Treks, to going into the city and praying for people, to going into Leper Colonies and praying for healing. The most recent adventure we had was to Pashupati, which is a huge temple and crematorium where they worship death and sex basically. Pashupati all started with a dream that I had a couple of times when I was in Kona. The dream was a temple with a man half in the water and we pray for him and he stands up. So when we got to Nepal I told the dream to Joel, our leader here, and he said he knows the place of the temple with a river nearby and as they prepare the bodies to be cremated they put there feet in the water. He told me to pray about the date and see when God wants us to go. So we get the date October 29th. To start to prepare for the dead being raised, however that should look, we did a 56 hour burn. Where each of us signed up for a six hours spread out and went into a prayer room that we made next to our kitchen, that used to be a worship area for Hindu's, and we would pray, worship and intercede for whatever God wanted to do on the 29th. Something I really felt like the Lord was telling me to do was study 1 Corinthians 15. So in my prayer times I would worship and then really studied what 1 Corinthians 15 had to say about raising the dead. When we get there it did not look like anything in my dream. Joel started showing us around, showed us where the common people are burned and then took us across this bridge to where they prepare everybody and where the higher cast are burned. When we got there it looked like my dream and they were getting ready to bring out a body. So we went down to it and the brought out this middle aged man and told us that he had diabetes and the doctor told him to double up on his medicine and it killed him within a week. So we asked if we could pray for him and he said that we can so I asked if i could lay my hands on him and they said yes, which is a God thing because they do not let people ever lay hands on the dead because it is against there culture. So, I went down to pray for him with Joel and wept over this man for him to know the reality of heaven and that God is real and to stand up for the Glory to be to God and show that he is real and he is good. We prayed and prayed and then they told us we had to stop because they needed to start preparing the bodies. Then we went up by where they were putting him to burn to pray. Half of my team were worshiping a little ways away from us and they got kicked out and then invited into a woman's house for tea. So 3 of them went to the house and the other 2 came back in and we worshiped more and then left. The hard part for me to understand is the fact the we go to this place where if a man stood up it would be a crazy miracle and huge opening to see that God is real and who he says he is but nothing happens. I have to believe that even though we did not see the fruit of what happened yesterday, we still planted a seed and God will work out the rest and that is enough for me. These next couple of weeks will be amazing and crazy! We are looking for Gillian Mellsop to see what we are supposed to do with her and why God spoke her name. Also, starting this week we are becoming active with prostitution and sex trafficking and really praying for breakthrough in that. Prayer requests: health for the team(that seems to have been our biggest issue) and also for favor over these next  weeks. God is moving and we know that we will not be discouraged or angry it only makes us want to press in more and see what God really wants to do.
